ANTIQUE FUNERAL ORNATE CRUSHED VELVET FREE STANDING DRAPERY BACK DROP CASKET CURTAIN
Here offered is a great looking antique Funeral Back Drapery Drop Curtain with the original carrying case. This is is near excellent condition and appears to have spent most of its like packed away in its original case. These size Drapery Drop Curtains were used mainly as Back Drops for In Home funerals in the late 19th and early to mid 20th century.
This is made of crushed Velvet Fabric with a Muslin backing. The Velvet is a powder Blue color and the Trim and Rosettes are made of Pink Velvet as shown. The colors are much nicer than my photos show. There is some slight discoloration on some of the muslin as shown in the photos...... This has a single telescoping stand with the Draperies on rods at the top. The sides swing out on either side and can be places straight open or angled in on each end as shown.  This will telescope to a height of 78" and when stretched straight is 82" wide. This comes with the original case which is in very good condition but missing the carrying handle. This is very easy to set up ....tear down...... and pack. P
